WHALERS CLINCH HOME ICE, FIRST ROUND SCHEDULE RELEASED.

By picking up a point in the 2-1 overtime loss to Sault Ste. Marie on Friday, the Whalers clinched the fourth seed in the Western Conference and will have home ice for the first round playoff series against Sault Ste. Marie.
