The parents and players who participated in the first day of this year’s Plymouth Whalers Rookie Orientation will sleep well tonight.

After a full day of off-ice testing, seeing the town of Plymouth and finding about the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park along with other educational opportunities (see photo with Plymouth Education Consultant John Seidleman), the players went through a spirited scrimmage Saturday afternoon at Compuware Arena.

The Whites defeated the Blues, 5-4, overcoming a first-period Blues lead with four goals in the second period.

The Whites and Blues will scrimmage against Sunday morning at Compuware Arena from 9:30-11am.  The scrimmage is open and free to the public.  Rosters will be provided.
